I definitely respect your opinion! I'm not sure what you mean by the "warmth" of the photo is a little lacking. Usually most experienced photographers that shoot studio do move about to create best best angles, one that doesn't is amateur. Your photography gives testiment to that. I love the photos you captured of Melissa. That's pretty much the theme or mood I want mine to have.

I generally do not like studio work, but this one has a nice angle. It's like the photographer detached his camera from the tripod and actually moved about! *gasp*
What I mean is that 99% of studio portraits are done on a tripod, and instead of the photographer moving around for the best angles, he/she makes the model move around. I've never liked that style, and it's always so obvious to me when that has been done.
