So this is my second attempt at capturing lightening.. and oh my gosh I have found my new obsession!! I either got really lucky or this is what I'm meant to be doing with my life. I've always wanted to chase tornados and study severe weather, but maybe I could just photograph it instead.

This is a terrific shot! It's great that the lightening is striking, otherwise I don't think it would have the same effect.
The contrast in this is just amazing. The sky at the bottom right looks so bright and clear, but the actual storm looks rather menacing.

Oh yea definitely, the photo is really quite boring except for the
lightening! I felt so lucky, it's so hard to photograph! But sooo
worth it when you get the shot!
